Want to avoid DFW heading W how about 380 from I 30?

Last year we traveled I30 through DFW on a Sunday and almost got in an accident. Will be traveling from MI to AZ the beginning of Jan. and am looking at other options. Would you recommend taking Hwy 3...

Would take I 20 around the south side of the Fort Worth/Dallas metroplex

Me too... on a Sunday it should not be real crowded typically.
Only that one tricky part mentioned above.
Should be pretty easy route.
