Washington to Bend Oregon
We're thinking about this route... Catching Highway 12 (mossyrock) to Yakima... then taking 97 down to Bend.. 40 towing... fuel stops? thanks

Great route. Stop at US12 summit and look back at Mt. Rainier. A beautiful photo.. Stop at Maryhill Museum and at the Stonehenge WW1 Memorial on the Washington side of the Columbia at Biggs, OR crossing.
US97 is an excellent 2 lane highway all the way to Bend. On your route I gas up in Yakima and Biggs. You will be fine.
