Waterton Lakes National Park Summer FYI

Question

If you are planning on stopping in Waterton Lakes National Park a note on some closures and work being done. Still worth the visit in my opinion but just keep this in the back of your mind. I prefer the off season so the summer work will have little impact on my trips there.

Thanks Photomike. We'll be there for a couple of weeks this coming early summer. Usually around June 29th until middle of July. Been there many times and always enjoyed going up to Cameron Lake and Red Rock Canyon and I'm sure we will again, just detoured a bit.

So, with a couple of roads closed, is there still enough to do &amp; see? We were thinking of going there this June, but it looks like next year might be better. I am basically stuck in our van when we go as i can't walk very far, so it'll be whatever i can see from a campground, or driving.
