How do we know which roads, or routes are able to handle RV's?

Trucker's Road Atlas. Not sure if there's an electronic app but if you have a SmartPhone you might want to look into it. It's obvious some of you haven't traveled in the northeast area of the country. Low bridges (unannounced) are much more common up here.
