I have Microsoft Streets and Trips on my laptop. DH has DeLorme Topographical software on his laptop. The DeLorme shows altitudes on the road AND the grade of the climb or descent. We will not travel without both of them. :) The Microsoft, if updated, will show restaurants, campgrounds, etc in any given area. Granted a restaurant may close after the update, but 90% of the time we've been able to find what the S&T shows us.
