It happens. Get over it. They were simply doing their job.
A few years ago at the Calaise, ME crossing we got the full search. What triggered it? I don't know. Officer spent over a half hour in the trailer, never opening slides to gain access to any of the drawers. I think she had a nap.
This year, same crossing, less than 5 minutes & a pleansant chat with the officer in the booth later & we were on our way into Canada.
