Torquart Bay is like..one of the niceest, prettiest, bestest spots ever. Plus, if you are able to pry out the info, there is an oyster bed to die for just around a corner.
It`s 16 k`s of rough-ishy road, so just sit back and crawl in.

Yes, Torquart Bay is a nice spot, but unfortunately, it has been closed for a few years. Pollution from the mining operations apparently.

Except, there is now a 1yr old campground just south of Toquart Bay called Secret Cove. It takes up almost 1km of logging road to pass, has something like 70 sites, and a kayak launch. Camped there May 2014 (right when it opened) with the Junior Rangers. Not a bad place, really, and all the sites are pretty good, with table and firepit. I think the old marina is being upgraded and re-opened (if it hasn't already) due to the vast number of sport fishing groups that come out every year and want somewhere to moor their boats while camping.
