What happened to Oregon 6 to the coast?

The highway is slipping towards the canyon on the east side. A couple of years ago ODOT worked on those area by adding boulders and steel pilings and when they were done this is what was left, rough road. I was very disappointed in our States ability in fixing Hwy 6. I have seen them repair Hwy 22 which had similar problems with great success. Granted 22 was not as steep as on 6.
