I think I have the whole border crossing issue solved. I'll try not to commit any major crimes in the next few weeks, will probably buy any fresh vegetables and fruit in Canada, and will not bring a suitcase of cash with me. :)
The availability of gas and propane remains a concern. I will be starting my trip on April 13th in a rented 25' class C with a Ford V-8. I am guessing that this vehicle will get about 9 MPG and the heater, range, refrigerator, and generator will run primarily on LP gas. It has a 55 Gallon/208 Liter Fuel Tank, and a 12.2 Gallon/46.2 Liter LP Gas Tank. I understand that many campgrounds and possibly gas stations may be closed in April as I make my way North to Anchorage. Should I be concerned about the availability of gas and LP gas?
