Same as most of the above - age & health - in over 40 years of travel to and in Mexico safety has never been an issue - because it is very safe. As far as the "American Soldier" he is an ex-Marine Reservist who seriously broke a bunch of laws and then lied about it - he is not an innocent - research the facts before jumping to conclusions.
