You asked a question and I am giving my honest answer. We live in Mexico, rv in Mexico and are now traveling across the U.S. and Canada. When we finish we will have traveled through and visited 18 U.S. states and 5 Canadian provinces.
With no offense to anyone from any country, I can't wait to get back home. Mexico is so much more relaxed, much more fun and by a million stars, much less expensive.
We miss seeing people on the streets walking around, music, dance, the food most of all. Had Mexican food in a sterile market in Ottawa yesterday and it just didn't even compare (run by Mexicans from D.F.).
We were in Chicago last month and heard gunshots three times overnight and our friends insisted it was fireworks. Then I read this: Report: 82 shot, 14 fatally, over holiday weekend in Chicago. So the danger exists everywhere and we will never sleep in our rv in a major metro downtown area again in any country.
The only thing that would stop us from rving would be for Mexico to become as restrictive as other countries. If there are too many rules, regulations, and there is no longer that wonderful Mexican culture in the air, we will have to move on down the line to another less progressive country. Or, old age :)
