Would it be the cost of healthcare, out of pocket expense, that would keep people from rving in Mexico? This has come up often. I wonder what the statistics are for people who travel out of their country for pleasure and suffer some type of accident or malady?
I guess universal healthcare and Medicare are great things as long as one doesn't venture out anywhere. I have read the requirements for Medicare and overseas travel and you would think that cheaper healthcare like in Mexico would be a boon for the sytem.
In other words, if you were to need a bypass, it is much cheaper in a private hospital that Canada or the U.S. could provide making it cheaper to pay for the operation in Mexico than the home country.
