What would stop you from RVing Mexico?

I think the most important fact is - IF YOU CURRENTLY TRAVEL TO MEXICO. We do NOT need to hear from the "I am never going there because I am scared ****less" crowd. We have been traveling to Mexico every single year since 1980 and will continue to do so until an insurmountable obstacle prevents us. I see traveling for the next ten years as feasible and doable. Hope to see the real travelers there.

After years of having to leave Mexico because of only having 180 days visitor visas and not doing all we wanted to and having to go back to Canada and ice and snow we have now moved here were the weather is quite nice and so are the people. We live in our rv at Roca Azul in Jocotepec Jalisco. Brian & Sue, we look forward to seeing you again here.
So I guess the answer is we are not leaving certianly not because of health reasons or safety.

We live in Mexico now - but we still have our RV and love to explore. So even if we could no long "RV in Mexico" we plan to live here for the duration.

So much of what I thought about Mexico while living in the US was wrong or misguided. And I grew up in San Diego and use to visit TJ all the time. But when we actually explored further into Mexico, got to know its history, culture, and people from this side of the border, we can't think of living anywhere else.

We still love the US and it is because of the freedoms we enjoy as US citizens that we can live abroad and return home as often as we desire.

As far as I'm concerned Mexico is just as safe if not safer than anywhere else in a North America.
As a matter of fact I have more worries about safety getting through parts of The Great USA!
Pluses for Mexico far outweigh any minuses!

Looked it up again. He took a wrong turn. Pure and simple. Maybe you need to check your facts. Called for help at the border, explained to the Mexicans what happened. Still in jail. And they have the nerve whine.

I would love to venture down, especially since we are so close. Had a cabin in Cholla Bay growing up and had a blast... And that was the 70's when it was very dangerous.

DH refuses to go. 100% safety issue he says. Oh, well. I gave up trying years ago. Though looking at it from his point of view, I understand where he is coming from.

We still have the whole US to explore anyways so I doubt we will ever run out of places to go and things to see and do.

Age/Health. It is likely that we will stop RVing (for health reasons, not safety) first but will then likely fly in as often as possible as long as airfare and travel insurance are financially feasible.

As for the US Solder comments: Read the whole story. Being a US (or any nationality) soldier does not necessarily make one a good person. I would hazard a guess that there is more than one US soldier in prison in the USA.
