There is the Dyea Campground and Park near the end of the Chilcoot trail road and you can visit Dyea town historic site. It cost $10 per night, I was there on 23 may 2012 and it was not officially open, so we did not have to pay.
There is also nice boonducking on the Haines Highway near Haines beside the Chilkat river, just pull over and enjoy the view.
