I have no idea where the 'tail' is going. Been there twice. Both times just after the road was opened for the summer. Both times that whole area was still covered with snow. Had no idea that there is a walkway underneath.
The trail is from Logan Pass to Hidden Lake. Hopefully you can make the hike someday and see this.
We had to cross a little snow to get there.
