What about NM? Northern NM is beautiful, Angel Fire, Red River,Chama. You don't say what time of year your talking about, but if you go farther east before the heat sets in Red Rock Canyon state park in Hinton OK is pretty cool. Also we visted Branson and stayed for a month had a great time in May, although it was tornado season, for Bluegrass and Barbecue at Silver Dollar City, stayed at their RV park the Wilderness. Best deal is to buy their season pass and it pays for itself in the first two days!
