Where to RV in Ohio?

My job is moving me from California to Central Ohio. I've always RVd in/near the mountains or the coast, so I'm hoping someone can convince me to keep my 5th wheel after I move there. Do folks enjoy their RVs in those parts or do they sink into deep RV withdrawal syndrome? I would love to hear perspectives. Thanks.
  • While Ohio can be a bit cold and has a bit of a reduced RV season. There are lots of lake areas, woods, and fun places to camp. bring you RV there is no shortage of good RV destinations in Ohio
  • My family is from Ohio for generations and I have lived Florida since 69.

Bring your RV. Not only is Ohio rich in places to see, Amish Country for one, but Michigan is beautiful. Youghiogheny (yockahaney) in Pa is close. So much close by plus your within striking distance to Maine and New England. Not to mention a two day drive to Florida, one day to the Carolina's.
  • Ohio is home to the largest Amish community in the USA. Lovely area to camp in if you are a family. Single guy not so much.
  • HI what town are you going to be close to? and things you like to do, lake erie is only couple miles from any where. and welcome.
