We are traveling in a 40 foot Newmar w/tow from Kansas city to Santa Fe and GPS gives several routes..keeps telling me to down thru OK city but wanted to go 35 to 50 towards Dodge City then 412 to 25 ...

You don't mention how you plan to get to Sedona. If from 40 at Flagstaff and if no one has mentioned 89A is not an rv friendly route. Hwy 17 is recommended. After getting on 17 and if using a GPS do not take the Schnebbly Hill rd. exit. That turns into a 4X4 road. Get off 17 at 179. Do not take the road to Red Rock Crossing as that route is also not RV friendly. !79 has at last count has 11 round-a-bouts.
