Because the "proper" campgrounds that are close to Whitehorse are around $30-$50 per night, and generally are less convenient to downtown? Because you are going to the Yukon to see the Yukon, not to see what campgrounds in they Yukon look like, given that they're broadly similar to campgrounds anywhere else?
This I do not understand. I can see an overnight, and I feel really bad for and understand the mobile homeless using the lot. But if you're using the wm lot as a destination and are trying to save $30, then you need to travel in a different way.
