In the Dells for food, Ishnala is a must stop supper club. Mirror lake is the place to stay with in the Dells but it’s a state park and not a wide open rv resort. Stand Rock is nice and is open has a pool and is typical of the majority private parks in Wi and one of the nicer ones in the Dells.
Door County, Peninsula State Park is where we always stay but once again not an rv resort. The bay side is always more busy than the lake side. There are tons of restaurant and yelp should point you in the right direction. There are plenty of private parks but we have never stayed at any. It’s a neat area and we visit often. Fred and Fuzzys is a cool place to eat outside on a scenic little bay.
Up north or northern wi is full of lakes and is probably our favorite place to go in Wi. We always go to the Sayner/Boulder Junction area and always stay in the state forest. With a kayak you could fish lakes all summer and never get bored. Once again we never stay at private parks up there so can’t help there.
We have camped all over Wi so feel free to send me a message if you have any other questions. We are heading your way this summer to Rocky Park
