  • I've never been afraid of heights, I've worked all over high stuff all my life. I used to do skydiving years ago...

However, I think that one would even make my butt pucker! :E
Not sure I'd venture out there.

The cracking glass is an interesting touch!
Hope they advise people to use the bathroom before heading out there!
  • I've stood on the glass floors of the CN Tower in Toronto and the Canton Tower in Guangzhou.

But they both allow you to go at your own pace. The walkways are a no go because once you start you're stuck going all the way. And there are too many other people so the chance of getting pushed is too great for my comfort.

Speaking of people.... I would be very much interested in doing those walkways, but what makes me a little leery is seeing all the people on them. I know (well, I assume) the walkways are designed for maximum weight, but still, I'd rather not be on them with hundreds of pounds of people walking / bouncing / flopping up and down!

My wife would do those walkways without hesitation.

    How about Canada?

Doesn't really matter where, China, US, Canada, or anywhere else, always been a firm believer that if it's man made, it CAN & at some point probably will break. ;)
  • If I remember the sign in the CN Tower right, the glass could hold the weight of 150 hippos (real hippos - not just really big people).

I am less worried that the glass will break than that some idiot will start goofing off and knock me over the railing. I felt the same way standing at the railing overlooking Niagara Falls - too many people goofing off and jostling each other to feel safe that close to the edge.

Or with my luck, there'd be an earthquake just as I got out there on the walkway.
  • Seattle's SpaceNeedle has added a glass floor to its rotating restaurant.
  • Not a prayer. Not good with heights at all. Not a fan of the cracking joke-that could easily induce panic with unhealthy physical results.
  • Not for me, when I was 12, I laid in the backseat floor going over Pikes Peak Colorado.
