check out the web camerasI've driven from Rawlins to Three Forks lots of times. I doubt the route from Three Forks to Casper would be much different. Rural 2 lane highway 65mph high desert land scape. At Bairoil you cross the continental divide but not much there. In the winter we have to go to Rawlins instead of going over south pass which also goes over the continental divide. Much easier even in the winter north of Rawlins. Wyoming is the indian word which means high desert plains. With that in mind make sure you fuel up in Casper. Resonably priced fuel hard to find in those small towns. I like to use my head lights on those 2 lane highways.
