  • Thought it was good that they included information on their financial situation and the costs (fuel) involved. While, as it was said, they seem more upscale, and have some financial resources, it's good to see the kind of budget they are dealing with. Puts it a bit more in perspective for those of us who don't have those financial resources, but might want to consider full-timing. Gives a good overview on the process.

I'd be interested to see/know what sort of budget other full-timers have set, in comparison. I don't have a huge house to sell, nor can afford to buy a condo somewhere for my waning years, but dealing with monthly fixed income of $2000-$2500 is interesting.
  • I have to admit being full time was a lot harder than I expected.
  • It was nice to see a positive article for once. So often the stories include someplace like Slab City, which is not to say it's not a nice place but it is not average for fulltimers. We part time and get strange reactions when we say we've been on the road for the last eight or ten weeks. It's so refreshing to be on the road and even more so when someone publishes an upbeat article about how great it is.
  • A pretty good article that doesn't make it sound like fulltimers are just homeless roaming the country.
