Yes make reservations well in advance for July. That is prime vacation time. Also KOA on Lundy's Lane is good and very kid friendly. Can also catch the town bus right at the entrance to go to the falls area attractions.
Sorry know nothing about Yogi Bear but I expect every campground in that area will be busy and lots of kids.
