Yosemite One Picture = Thousand Words

I could be wrong (and often am), but I think that shot is taken right near the Tioga kiosk. And here is the "glass half full" view of the photo -- the snow appears to be only about five feet deep, and the snowplow crew has somehow made it to the kiosk!

I don't know if they arrived from the east or the west; but in either case, that is quite an achievement. I had heard that the road was destroyed in several places -- maybe things are not as bad as I had feared.
