- jmcgsdExplorerYup, it talks to the lack of moisture this year in the Sierras. I'm not going to get into the Global Warming discussion, but there's no doubt the snow pack was minimal this year.
I'm scheduled to CG Host in Sequoia Nat'l Park this year at Dorst Creek. I have already been told that we may need to shut the camp early because of lack of water. Reservations are normally available for Dorst, but not this year, it will be first come, first served only since the closing date is unknown. - reasleyExplorerThe opening and closing dates of Tioga are all over the place. In 99 we went over the pass on Christmas day.
- *&^$%#@ Global warming! I can remember driving over that pass in early July with snow as high as the TT on both sides of the road.
