Going to fort Pickens in June, have a satellite dish do I need to take it . Can you get any local stations. Not going to watch tv .but would ge able to get some news and weather

Smart phone is a great idea. Use it just for weather. You don't need to watch the news. It will just anger you, make you sad, or just generally pi-- you off. We haven't watched news for years, and our state of mind and stress levels are much better than they used to be. Believe me, if something really important happens, somebody will tell you about it! :C Happy travels.
