OK, Odd Man Out Here.....
We are serious travelers and not so much campers. We rarely have a whole day's worth of lead time when we even actually want/need a campground. I will have done a search online if wire is available. (We carry wire, but even Verizon does not always work.) Then I will contact on-line if I can. Some I have not been able to and so called. Calling is problematic as there may be no one to field the call. So, if I call and get the robot, I leave a message and a phone number. I usually get called back. This is good even if they don't have a slip for us for that night.
