Where things go astray is the OP is warning us of a problem that does not exist.
There is no limit on CG rates. There are many CG's that charge $100.00 or more. The CG price is readily available to everyone it's not a secret.
Is tHe OP is warning us to check prices before we check in and pay?
Or is he warning us the yellow light is going to turn red!
Either way I think we already know fire is hot, no warning required!
A better title of this thread may have been:
"Note to self, Check rates first, Any extra money spent will be my own!"
