4WD ridge ride SW Utah?

A few years back, someone posted about a 4WD trail on NF land that rode the top of a ridge for maybe 10 or 20 miles. Not an extreme trail (in dry weather), but 4WD was recommended for it. I seem to recall it was somewhere in SW or south-central Utah, and it pretty much ran north and south. But I can't find the post, nor can I figure out from maps just where it was. Anybody know what I'm talking about? It sounded like a fun spot, and I'll be over that way in a couple of weeks.
  • Check Mellow Mikes website

lots of great trails for 4wd campers

I think that's probably the one. Thanks!
  • It wasn't the White Rim Trail was it? There have been several posts in the Truck Camper section about it.
  • There's hundreds of miles of 4wd trails in Utah, take your pick. The Paiute ATV Trail system is one of the largest. Its located in Paiute County Utah. There'a another ATV trail system down around Kanab, Utah area, Bryce Canyon area. And a whole lot more through out the state of Utah.
  • After reading up on Skyline Drive, that has to be the one I read about some time back. Only, it's longer than I remembered... but there are multiple entry and exit points, so I can choose the length I want to drive. I'll be headed up I-15 next week from Vegas toward my brother's place near Idaho Falls, and Skyline Drive is close to that route. Looking forward to it. I'll stick to the northern part of the Drive; they say the Horseshoe section farther south tends to be snow-bound until early August!
