Pics look great! We love shaded and secluded sites to camp. But, looking over their website and rules, they list that the gates are closed 8pm to 8am! Not only that, but no parking outside the gate, towing enforced, etc. Looking for feedback on this from anyone who has actually stayed there. What if you go into Raleigh or somewhere for dinner and don't get back until 11pm for example? Can you not get back in to your camper? We cook most nights when camping and love that but sometimes you just want to go to Ruth Chris and have a steak you know. What has been your experience with this? Seems like awfully restrictive rules to me. And looking at other state campgrounds, this seems to be the norm in NC. Do they really lock the gate so you can't get back in late?
