I saw there was a post asking about camping at Dead Horse Point SP so I thought I'd better bump this.
I should note we were looking at making reservtions for Dead Horse Point in November. I was kind of shocked that they had raised the rate to $40/night. :E I guess they had to come up with some money to pay for all the upgrades.
We ended up getting a reservation at a nice little motel in Moab for $50/night. (Yeah, prices really drop in November.) The additional $10 we'll spend a night will be more than made up by all the gas we'll save! Plus a shower we can luxuriate in rather than the quickies we have to take at Dead Horse with the water situation.
