Adirondack Trip Planing
We are planing on a trip to the Adirondack Mountains this coming September. We would also like to spend some time in the Finger Lake Region as well. Not sure if the Finger Lakes would be on the way ...

Meaning one tag - registered as tow vehicle and trailer. You can have multiple tags on one account, so you can also have one for just the tow vehicle for when you aren't towing.
Seems to be inconsistant from state to state, but NJ website says you don't need this - they have sensors to count the axles and charge you accordingly.
FWIW - we have towed through NY/PA/OH/IN/IL with just the standard tag from the tv. Never had a problem.
For this trip it would be a "nice to have" and save you some time. In the NY/NJ metro area, DC/northern VA, or eastern MA, its a must have...
Yup, I have 2 tags, a white one for solo and a blue one for towing the TT.
