Tiger, I am sure it is harder to air up a tire that's in use -- much easier when it stops rolling! ;)

No, seriously, that is a good point -- does the weight of the vehicle make it harder to add air? I don't know.

And I only air down when I know I am headed into deep sand -- a pretty rare event.
