Alabama Mountains state park recommendations

Does any one have a recommendation for an Alabama campground (state or private park) recommendation that is in the Alabama mountainous region? I've gone to the Alabama state park site but I'm not familiar with Alabama state parks and I have not seen anyone post about an Alabama campground.

    Huntsville, AL cool Mtn Park, along with some cool attractions in Huntsville.

    Monte Sano


    Ft Payne, AL -great state park, very, very nice campground, up in Mtns, local falls in area, hiking, Mtn Biking, etc...

    DeSoto Park


    Birmingham, AL - although NOT REAL Mountains, it is a nice park.

    Oak Mountain
