Albany GA - Devencrest Travel Park?

Does anyone know anything about Devencrest Travel Park in Albany GA? It is a PA park but other than an entry on the PA site I cannot seem to find anything about it.

It is a good location on our route south, and would like to find out something about it.
  • Like robsouth, we don't like the looks of Devencrest but have stayed at Sugar Mill Plantation many times. We were snowed out on our way home to NC from Florida in Jan of 2011 and stayed there for four days. Not much to do but it was safe and comfortable. lizzie
  • There is another campground a cpl of miles before Devoncrest coming north to south out of Albany...called Albany RV Resort...much better choice than Devoncrest, which is somewhat run down...and last month half of it was under water...Chuck

  • Thanks all for the replies and the good info. The only reason I was looking at Devencrest is it is a Passport America park. I was also looking at Brickyard Plantation near Americus. I was wanting to get further south than that though. Maybe we should just leave a little earlier and push on to Dothan AL. There is a PA park there that seems ok. That would put us only a couple of hours from Grayton Beach so maybe we could get there a little early!
  • for another hours ride, go to Thomasville,Ga and stay at City of Roses campground...it is a passport campground...Chuck
