Albuquerque
Looking for a good campground in Albuqueque for a couple nights. No toad on this trip, so close to activities . Any help appreciated.

There is not really a place to stay in Albuquerque except the KOA which is off of east Central. It looks nice but I only live a mile away so have never camped there. On the west side of town there are two or three parks which are mentioned above. The last time I was at the KOA (getting propane tanks filled) there was a guy who had been staying at the American RV Park and he hated it and was getting a space at the KOA. American was having utilities problems apparently. With no toad, I would probably stay at the casino mentioned above and use the RailRunner. It is a long walk to Old Town from the RailRunner station however if that is one place you want to visit.
