RVPR has almost 225K reviews! From what I've read on their forums during summer months they get 100+ per day.
You bring up a good point about claimed campground amenities, this is why I think RVPR is so helpful, find a campground, read "all" the reviews, this will usually paint a picture on what's really going on in a campground.
