On a broader scope, is the Senior Pass fair? I go in and out of National Parks with a wave of my forever $20 Senior Pass while the guy behind me with the wife, three kids and a tight budget pays $35 at Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Devil’s Postpile etc. Why am I entitled to what is essentially “free” admission? Heck, now with the Veteran Pass there is no fee. What do you think?

as it should be. everyplace should have a Veteran rate that is better than the normal senior rate.

I disagree. Veterans benefits should be to “catch up” the vet to where he/she would have been if they had not served…education, employment etc. “Lifelong” perks, particularly in an all volunteer armed forces, isn’t appropriate.

Wow….you’re not a Vet, obviously, I presume. But, wow….

If you feel guilty, just hand in your pass and pay daily rate.

Any time your using your geezer pass and that feeling of being “Entitled” gets the best of you , just pay the fee for that guy behind you on tight budget and you’ll be all good again.
