as it should be. everyplace should have a Veteran rate that is better than the normal senior rate.
I disagree. Veterans benefits should be to “catch up” the vet to where he/she would have been if they had not served…education, employment etc. “Lifelong” perks, particularly in an all volunteer armed forces, isn’t appropriate.

there is no catching up. a member who served put there life on the line to protect YOUR rights and way of living. the ability to vote for who you want, and to like or not like the winner, or to even make comments like this. if you think just getting old puts you on the same footing as some one who signed up to serve, shake your head a minuite.
next time you do somthing just think would you be doing it if there wernt people willing to lay down their life to protect YOUR rights and freedoms.
