We are already have excess oil that there are capping of some drills and pumps.
Investors are already advising to not to buy the Exxons if you have long-term horizon as the trend is a continued decline in global demand.
Have you seen what happened to coal when people just waited for the false promise of a revival? Whose ego was stoked on this case? And who were the gullible victims?
Technology in all area of life is going faster with greater speed and velocity. There is the future and there is the past. It's adapt or die (or your family will starve).
As an update, GM announced they will stop selling gas and diesel vehicles. (zero tailpipe).
