WE travel through Port Jervis & Newburg every summer on our way to NH. There is really no decent place to stay in that area. Once we stayed at Promised Land State Park, Greentown, PA - lovely spot, but quite a ways off Route 84. Now we stay at the Comfort Inn in Lake Ariel, PA. Right off 84 - plenty of room to park your RV and a really good restaurant for dinner and/or breakfast within walking distance - also dog friendly.
