Sounds like a plan. I'd be interested to hear if anything has changed in five years.
If you are approaching Indian Flat from the west in Hwy. 140 it is real easy to miss the entrance to the CG.
Also further west on Rt. 140 there was a temporary bridge across the river for which there was a length restriction for vehicle traffic - 45 feet. I am thinking that was for non-articulated vehicles (we were 48.5' nose to tail) since we negotiated the turns with no problems. The locals told us later that bridge had been in place for years after the original one was washed out in a flood. The state of California didn't have the money to build a permanent bridge at the time - and I don't think their fiscal situation has improved all that much.
