hello, will be going on vacation in june to Mt Rushmore SD, first time in that area. Any recommendations for a campground in the area to use as a home base for a few days to see the sites in the area?...

We stayed at Stockade Lake South last year and it was one of the best campsites we have been to. It's one of the smaller ones, no full hookups, but electricity and there is a bathroom/shower facility on site.
