Any RV parks near Brooklyn?

I'm at liberty Harbor now, try staying close as possible to the front part of the campground/by office or marina. Lot of construction and dust at opposite part of campground/parking lot.

Another place to check out is the Croton Point Park. About 30 miles north of NYC - a 45 minute train ride or 1 hour drive. The rail road station is in walking distance (a long walk) of the park.

By far the most convenient and closest is Liberty Harbor. Just a glorified parking lot with hookups, but it is within walking distance to mass transportation that will take you anywhere in NYC you need to go. Don't know of any "short term" RV storage area and believe overnight parking of RV's in business parking lots is illegal in most of the communities in North Jersey/suburbs of New York. Don't even think about taking the RV into the city!

Thought about doing an RV Storage search? Might be a lot cheaper, we stayed at Liberty Harbour for 3 nights to explore NYC a few years ago and it was quite expensive then and quite a dump but at the end of the day it was convenience proximity we paid for. Just saying do a search for short term storage compounds maybe. Also does your family know of any restaurants or business owners that might agree to you paying a few bucks to park it that seems OK?

There is Liberty Harbor RV in Jersey City NJ.... And there is a KOA in Newburgh NY , which is about an hour away or so...
