April / May trip. Campsite availability?
Hi We are family of 4 from the UK planning our first RV trip across the USA...from New York to San Fransico. The trip will be 19 nights in total and 4000 miles. First night in the RV is 14th April...

Yes it is going to be tight in 19 days but all 4 of us can drive all over 25....we also have 2 days in NY and another 2 days in SF at the end ...not in RV ...so not all driving. Yes we will book at the main parks...Yosemite etc
Our plan is to have some longer driving days initially to arrive in Colorado after 6 days. We then have 13 days at a slower pace getting to SF. We will miss LA as it is just too much. Due to us all working it is not possible to get more time and has been hard enough getting the 3 weeks off! Have done some big distances in Africa and we do all enjoy the open road!
