April Trip Along the California Coast?
Hello, friends, I hope you will pardon this not-quite-strictly-RV-related request! Although I live towards the east coast, I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to visit the Big Sur area...

Weather in April can be dicey...usually fog and overcast mornings with some clearing in the afternoon. Possible drizzle or light rain or even heavy rain with wind. Or you could have sunshine all day with temps in the 60 - 70 range by afternoon.
Be sure to take the skunk train from FT Bragg to Willits and back...it's a beautiful trip. Also hit all of the tourist traps along the way...corny but fun.
For overnight stays I would look at www.rvparksreviews.com to find campgrounds with cabins and find a website with Bed & Breakfast lists.
Half Moon Bay quaint seaside villeage with art & antique shops
Bodega Bay same as above plus where the movie "The Birds" was filmed
Some great family style restaurants in Occidental (a little inland)
As a kid I remember Patricks Point state park as being really special. The trail down to agate beach and then looking through all the tiny rocks on the beach for various gemstones.
Jedediah Smith State Park with trails through beautiful redwood groves
