Are we almost there yet?

Have you arrived at your Winter destination yet? Location?

We arrived at Palmview Texas 2 miles from the Mexico border Thursday afternoon after 17 days on the on the road. If it is anywhere near your route we highly recommend stops to explore at Hot Springs Arkansas and Goliad Texas. Beautiful here on the patio sipping a Corona with fresh lime from the neighbor's tree.

    I "googled" Palmview,Tx an it was 45 degrees---brrrrr. It's a little chilly here in the Keys at 73 this AM.

    We have gone a couple hundred miles and will leave out of here headed to AZ in another week or so. Hoping it warms up a little. Dang cold here in S IL

    Another 3 weeks to go. Hopefully it will cool off down there soon or we may have to delay.

    You are a little late. We arrived on Sept 28th. Seems to be a lot cooler now.

    On our way..in Melbourne FL now visiting son and family, will be following along gulf coast until Baton Rouge, then detouring north to East Texas to visit some friends from cancer treatment. Decided with all the storms this summer and fall the Rv parks along I-10 and US59 might be hard to get a spot in. Plan to be at Martin's Restful Valley Ranch in Palmview by mid November.
