"Gila Bend is just a little old layed back town, has one food store two dollar stores, 4 or 5 fast foods, it is cooler at night because of Barry Gold Water gun range to the south. The wind will blow the cool air off the gun range at night so it will cool down faster.Most other RV towns are warm, but not as cool at night and yet Gila Bend is warmer in the day time also. There is only one real good park, I watched him build it and know he tryed to do right. I do not know is prices. It is on the east side of Gila Bend, you can drive about 40 miles into Buckeye or Goodyear and shopping in lots of new stores along I-10 and if you want to drive a little more you can go into Phx. for things like the Suns games, large weekend shows like gun show, dogs show many types of show or movies. Gila Bend is a little town where, hiding, rock hounds, and if you have a good lawn chair and lots of time you can enjoy yourself without bumper to bumper cars.If you want lots of people go to Quartzsite or Casa Grande. I don't live there, but I have spend a lot of time in a lot of town in Az. As I started travel them in the early 60's I have seen them grew up"...
