Supercharged - since you may be reading & since you know motorcycles....
I have gotten a lot of help here, and I want to thank all local Arizonians on my enquiries here!
Joe, Brenda or Salome whould be a place I think you would like. Lots of open area to ride you Cl 350 in. Check it out.
I have spent the last six winters in Salome. We have (maybe had) a nice campground but ELS just turned it into a KOA. We are all very disappointed and unsure just what to expect. We use to get a six month rate starting on any date we wanted. Now all extended reservations start at the beginning of the month. So if you come in on the 20th of October, you pay day rate until Nov 1. You get no credit for leaving on the 20th of April. Several of the regulars have change campgrounds already. However the ATV riding is great. Some people have their motorcycles with them. Salome is 100 miles from Phoenix, 35 miles from Quartzsite, 55 miles from Parker, and 120 miles from Yuma. It is open desert surrounded by low mountain on three sides. We get about 10 days in January where our water hoses freeze but they are thawed by 10 AM. Once in awhile we see snow on the mountains. We ride almost everyday.
